Benefits Planning, Assistance, and Outreach

This service includes management of consumers' benefit packages such as; Section 8 Housing, General Assistance, SSI/SSDI and usage of Social Security Work Incentives. Activities include:

• Providing technical assistance on benefits planning and assistance to consumers
• Providing information and referral to consumers, community-based organizations, DVR counselors, employers and teachers
• Providing training on Social Security Work Incentives and wage/benefit management to consumers and other appropriate individuals and organizations to promote the employment of individuals on Social Security
