The Procurement Program

SJCI has a program that is designed to assist consumer in acquiring/purchasing home modifications or assistive devices that will assist him/her in living a more independent life. This program is a funder of last resort. Some examples of services and/or assistive devices provided are:

• Wheelchairs-manual or powered if needed
• Ramps for the home
• Vehicle modification
• Hand controls for driving
• Bathroom modification
• Door widening to allow the passage of wheelchairs
• Hearing aids
• Medical equipment, etc.
